Yes, as long as you use an OJK-licensed app that opens that channel. As of, Indodax accepts QRIS, GoPay, OVO, DANA and ShopeePay; Pintu accepts QRIS and five e-wallets (GoPay, LinkAja, ShopeePay, OVO, DANA); Reku accepts QRIS plus OVO, DANA and LinkAja. The question is not whether it works but what it costs. QRIS is 0.7% at three platforms and 2% at Tokocrypto, while e-wallets run 1.5% to 2%. A virtual account, the duller route, is often free. Below are the numbers per platform, worked rupiah examples and the steps.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy crypto with GoPay, OVO or DANA?
Yes, on OJK-licensed apps that support them. Indodax accepts GoPay, OVO, DANA and ShopeePay, Pintu does too, and Reku takes OVO, DANA and LinkAja. E-wallet fees run 1.5% to 2%, so they cost more than a virtual account.
How much does a QRIS crypto top-up cost?
QRIS is 0.7% at Indodax, Reku and Pluang, while Tokocrypto charges 2% for QRIS and e-wallets. We did not find a QRIS figure on Pintu's official fee page. A Rp1,000,000 QRIS top-up therefore costs about Rp7,000 at the first three.
Is QRIS or a virtual account cheaper?
A virtual account is almost always cheaper above roughly Rp250,000 to Rp650,000. Pintu and Reku charge nothing for VA, Indodax charges Rp1,665 to Rp3,330. QRIS only wins for small amounts or when you need funds outside bank hours.
What is the minimum deposit by e-wallet or QRIS?
Indodax, Reku and Pluang: Rp10,000. Pintu: Rp50,000 for every method. Tokocrypto announced Rp10,000 from June 2026, although its QRIS page still says Rp50,000. Check the app before topping up, as these figures can change.
How fast does the balance arrive after QRIS or GoPay?
Pluang says VA and QRIS balances generally arrive immediately after confirmation. Tokocrypto says usually under 5 minutes, up to 24 hours, and slower between 22:59 and 05:00 WIB. Real timing depends on your bank or e-wallet network.
Can I top up crypto with someone else's e-wallet?
You should not. Pintu requires deposits from an account in the same name as your Pintu account, and other platforms apply a similar principle through KTP verification. Third-party accounts risk rejection, held funds or freezes linked to fraud cases.
