There is one way to reach the Crypto Indonesia Editorial Team: email contact@crypto-indonesia.com. We have no phone line, chat group or direct-message account that we answer. If anyone claims to represent us through another channel, please ignore them. The site has no user accounts, so we will never ask you to log in, send money, or share a password or wallet recovery phrase.

What we are glad to receive

The most useful thing for us is a correction. If you see a fee that has changed, a dead link, a misspelled platform name, or a claim that does not match its source, tell us the page link, the passage you mean, and evidence if you have it, such as a link to an official page or a dated screenshot. We check it against the original source and fix the page if it holds up. How we handle corrections is described in our methodology and about us pages.

We also welcome source tips. For example: recent, dated evidence that a crypto cash machine or counter really operates in a city, or news of a new rule from OJK or Bank Indonesia. We will verify it before using it, and we do not publish claims we cannot back up. If you have findings about Bitcoin ATMs in Indonesia or services in your city, send them in.

What we cannot help with

  • Investment, tax or legal advice. We cannot tell you what to buy or sell, when, or how much. Nor are we tax consultants; for the general basics there is crypto tax in Indonesia, and for your own case, ask a tax adviser or the tax office.
  • Crypto recovery services. We do not recover lost money or assets, and we have no way of tracing a wallet on your behalf. Be wary of anyone offering "recovery" for an upfront fee, because that is itself a scam pattern. What to do after being a victim is in crypto scams in Indonesia.
  • Account problems on a platform. We are not affiliated with any exchange we review and cannot unlock or freeze accounts. Contact the platform's own support. For complaints about licensed businesses, OJK runs the 157 contact centre.
  • Confirming whether a company is licensed. The official answer is on OJK's licensing list. How to check is explained in is crypto legal in Indonesia.
  • Changing a score or review in exchange for anything. We decline such requests; see the methodology.

What to expect on response time

We read the messages that arrive, but we do not promise a particular response time and cannot reply to every email. Reports of factual errors get priority. A general question already answered in one of our guides may get a reply pointing to that guide. If your message is urgent because money is at risk, do not wait for us: contact your bank or platform, and for suspected fraud call OJK's 157 line.

Before you write

Check that your question is not already answered in the guide index or the review index. Do not include sensitive data such as passwords, recovery phrases, card numbers or photos of your ID; we do not need them to respond to a correction. Anything you send by email is used only to respond to that message; see the privacy policy.
